We are in the middle of the second week of February, and I’m sure many of you are thinking about your New Year’s resolutions. Are you ready for the healing that’s coming? Have you made any plans to change your life this year? Are you going to make some changes? If you have made no plans for yourself, or haven’t even thought about it yet, you need to get busy!

You have probably heard the saying “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” Well, if you don’t plan, you plan to stay where you are. This is not true! You can change your life and you can change your world. You can change your life and start making your dreams come true!

Here’s what I want to share with you today:

1. What is your dream?
Do you know what you want? It could be anything from a new car to a new job. Maybe you’ve always wanted to learn how to play an instrument. Maybe you’ve always wanted a better relationship with your spouse. Whatever your dream is, write it down. Write it out loud. Get really clear about what you want. Make sure it’s something that you really, really want.

2. Now think about how you can get there.
How can you go from where you are now to where you want to be? Can you visualize it? Can you see yourself doing it? Can you feel it? When you get clear about what you want, you will begin to create a vision of how you will achieve your goal.

3. What do you need to do to get there?
What are you going to need to do? What will you have to give up? What are you going to have to change? What skills are you going to have to learn? What resources will you need? What support will you need? What are you going to do to overcome any obstacles that may arise?

4. Who are you going to need to help you?
Who will you need to help you? Who can you ask for advice? Who can you talk to? Who can you call? Who can you email? Who can you text? Who can you visit? Who can you pray with? Who can you listen to? Who can you spend time with?

5. Where are you going to find all the information that you need?
Where are you going to get the tools that you need? Where are going to find the training that you need? Where are your going to find the guidance that you need?

6. What is the first step that you are going to take?
The first step is always the hardest one. Don’t beat yourself up if you can’t get started right away. Just take one step at a time. One step at a time is always easier than trying to take 10 steps at once.

7. What is the next step that you are going to do?
The next step is always easier than the last. Keep taking steps toward your dream. Don’t give up. Don’t quit. Just keep moving forward.

8. When are you going to start?
When are you going to start doing the things that you need to do to get closer to your dream? Don’t wait until tomorrow. Start today. Don’t procrastinate. Procrastination only leads to more procrastination. Don’t put it off. Don’t put it off any longer. Take action.

9. Are you going to follow through?
Are you going to finish what you start? Are you going to follow through on what you say that you are going to do, or are you just going to talk?

10. Are you going to keep going until you reach your goal?
Are you going to continue taking the steps that you need to take until you reach your goal?

What are you waiting for? You have everything that you need to get started. You have everything that you need inside of you. You have everything that you will ever need inside of you. You just have to get started!
