You are your thoughts, your values, and your habits. You are a dynamic system of energy.
You can choose to use your power and be happy or you can choose to be unhappy.
It is a choice between being your authentic self and being unhappy, a choice between being content or unhappy.
If you decide to choose to be content, you are choosing to be in your authentic self and
you will find that it is much easier to choose to be happy.
When you are in your authentic self, your happiness will be a natural expression of who you are.
You will be connected with your inner self and your body in a unique way.
When you are in your authentic self, you will be in the zone of flow. You will be totally present in the moment and
fully engaged with the people and things around you. You will experience flow as an inner feeling of well being,
a state of being that feels so good you want to join in and contribute to the joy.
When you are in flow, you feel alive, confident, and powerful.
“We are what we make ourselves.”
This truism has an important implication.
If we are what we make ourselves, then our lives are a sort of ongoing experiment that we cannot be sure of the outcome.
This means that the best way to be happy is to be in the flow of our lives. When we are fully present to our lives,
when we are fully in tune with what is going on and connected to our authentic selves,
we find that we have a positive feeling about life itself. In fact, we may find ourselves being happy just to be living it.
At times, being in flow can feel like an ecstatic bliss. When you are in flow, you lose track of time.
You forget about the bad things, the challenges, the problems, and just focus on the good things.
The more you focus on the good things, the more good things you find yourself finding in yourself.
You may find yourself making a discovery that changes your life completely.
It may be that you find yourself becoming a better person who is happier with who he is and what he is doing.
Being in the flow
If you are in flow, you may find yourself creating a new career, a new lifestyle,
a new friends group, a new relationship, a new family, a new life.
You may find yourself creating a new relationship with food, with music, with exercise, with your sleep.
You may find yourself creating a new way of being, a new level of consciousness, a new way of relating to the world.
Whatever it is that brings you into flow, you will notice that it is a positive event in your life,
in your development, and an event that creates a new kind of happy that you had previously not known.
If you want to know how to flow with your life and be happy, here is how:
1. Become aware that there is a feeling you can have about your life and this is your self-talk.
You can feel like this every day, maybe only a few times a day, and then develop
this into a constant feeling or self-talk that sounds like:
“This sucks, I am unhappy, I wish things were better, things are not better,
I wish things were better, I am unhappy, I wish things were better.”
Become aware that the feeling that you are having can take on a life of its own,
can get very annoying and become a thought that you believe about your life.
Become aware that the thought is not you.
2. Recognize the pain and challenge in your life.
It can be a little feeling you have about something that happened in your life, or
it can be a deep pain that seems to run through you. Become aware that the pain is not you.
3. Identify the things or situations in your life that make you feel like this.
You can do this by noticing the things or situations that make you feel sad, angry,
frustrated, happy, joyful, or any combination of these feelings.
4. Look for the good in things.
Be aware of the good things in your life by noticing the moments when something good happens,
by noticing something you find inspiring. Be aware that the inspiration is not you.
5. Keep your attention on your good times.
Letting your good times run your life can lead to a loss of interest in the bad times, and
a loss of interest in the parts of your life that make you sad. Identify moments when
your interest is focused on things that make you feel good, and when your attention is off things that make you feel bad.
6. Take your attention off your negative emotions and ask for inspiration.
Self-talk can also sound like “I feel sad, I wish things were better, I am sad, I wish things were better”
Become aware of the emotions you are bringing into your life and notice the inspiration in your life.
7. Notice the things you notice.
Notice all the things that inspire you, notice the ways you notice are working for you,
even notice ways you notice are not working for you. Notice the difference your attention can make,
notice the difference your attitude can make.
8. Notice what you notice, be aware of how much you notice.
Become aware that noticing your feelings has an effect on how you act,
and act according to the awareness you have.
9. Let go of the part of you that is judging.
Stay aware of your judgment, be aware of what you are judging,
be aware of how much you judge. Remember to focus on your action, and your actions are always on purpose.
Become aware that being aware of what you notice gives you power to change
the parts of your life that are not working for you. All parts of your life are working for
you according to the energy of your current energy.
Be aware of the things you notice and be aware that if you focus on the things you notice,
and let go of the parts of your life that make you sad and angry, they will be gone,
and replaced with things that are inspired by you.
Become aware that your actions always have a purpose.
Stay aware and don’t judge. All parts of your life will always work according to the energy of your current energy.
Let go of the judgment part of you, be aware of the energy of your actions,
be aware of the effect your actions have on you. Stay aware of your action and the energy of your actions,
stay aware of the effect your actions have on you.
Stay aware and be inspired. All parts of your life will always work according to the energy of your current energy.
Let go of the parts of your life that do not inspire you and replace them with things that inspire you.
