If you want to live a better life you must change the way you think. How can you change the way you think?

Here’s how:

1. Change your habits.
If you want to change the way you think you must change your habits. If you want to have more money you must eat more food. If you want to have a better relationship you must put more time into improving yourself. Change your habits and change the way you think.

2. Change your environment.
If you want to have more money you must change your environment. If you want to have a better relationship you must put more time into improving yourself. Change your environment and change the way you think.

3. Change your attitude.
If you want to have more money you must have a better attitude. If you want to have a better relationship you must put more time into improving yourself. Change your attitude and change the way you think.

These three ways will change the way you think and thus the way you live. That’s the easy part. Now comes the hard part. All three of these must work together. All three must work together if you want change fast.

Here’s how they work together:

1. Focus your attention.
If you have one thought and that is not what you want or need then you are focused on that thought and cannot use the other two to change what you are now experiencing in your life. When you are focused on a thought you cannot move on to the next thought and change what you are now experiencing in your life. If you are focusing on debt you cannot change your financial situation by focusing on wealth. If you are focused on a problem you cannot change your problems by focusing on solutions. You must have a desire for what you want and move on to the next thought. By holding your attention on one thought while allowing for the other two to work you can begin to change your life.

2. Allow the other two to work.
These are not things you can ignore. There is more to life than money and having money. It is not easy. It does require time, effort, awareness and courage. If you try to work the “money, money, money” thought or the “problem, problem, problem” thought you will be immediately blocked. You must move on to the next thought. However, if you give in to the other two and hold your attention on one thought, you will be attracting more of those two thoughts to you. By holding your attention on this thought you are giving energy to the other two.

3. When you give attention to two or more conflicting thoughts you have two options.
You can move on from either or you can focus your attention on one thought and allow the other two to work. By holding your attention on this thought you are moving the energy from the “problem, problem, problem” to this thought. This is the work you must do. By holding your attention on this thought you are allowing the other two to work and by allowing the other two to work you are amplifying the positive aspects of each.

Using the law of attraction to improve your life is a skill you have to learn and expand. As you practice you will notice your ability to eliminate conflicting thoughts improves. As your ability to eliminate conflicting thoughts improves your life will improve.

Here is an exercise you can use to learn to eliminate conflicting thoughts.

You can find an example of this exercise in many spiritual texts.

> Imagine a white screen with a red border around it. At the center of the red border are four red dots. Each dot represents a conflicting thought. Click on the red dots to turn them all blue. Continue doing this until all the red dots are blue.
> Each time you click on a red dot you are adding energy to it. Continue until all the opposing thoughts on your vision board are blue. You will notice that the opposing thoughts about your health, career, wealth, relationships and health are being turned blue. Now turn the blue page over and turn it into a golden page. Turn both pages into pictures about health, career, wealth, relationships and health. Continue to turn the pages until you reach the conclusion about life.
> At the conclusion page turn the pages over and turn them into pictures about God. Continue turning the pages until you reach your destiny.

So now you have a basic understanding of the law of attraction and how it works. I hope this helped you to understand the law of attraction a little better. Keep in mind the law of attraction is not a theory. It is a skill that must be practiced and grew. As you practice it you will notice that opposing thoughts about your life begin to turn blue.
