Do you ever feel like you are doing nothing? Or fell like you are walking around like a robot?

How to change beliefs

Well, I know I have. I had a similar experience recently and was able to look at it in a different way.

I realized the fact that I was responding to every stimulus and that this meant I was in motion.
In fact, my brain was working harder than it ever did before.
Because I was responding to what was happening around me, I was forced to look at things differently.
I was forced to look at things in a different perspective and my brain had to work harder.

So, what is a perspective? It is a look at things from a different perspective.
So, instead of looking at things from your normal perspective;
what you are doing is to look at things from a third person perspective.
What this means is you have chosen to change the way you are thinking.
That means that your brain is working harder. It means that it has to look at the situation differently,
think differently and react differently. What you are doing is forcing your brain to work harder.

So, why is this beneficial?

Well, as we have learned, your brain has to work harder to respond to things because
you have changed the way you are looking at things. It has to work harder to work with
the new information and look at things from a perspective different to the one you normally think in.
This is beneficial because it forces your brain to become more creative. It causes your brain to think in a different way.
So, it forces your brain to think in ways you have never thought before.

Here are 3 examples of how my experience has changed by thinking in a perspective different to my usual thinking.

1. I used to think that everything was on me. I used to look at what was happening
in my life and say to myself that this is my fault for letting this happen.

2. I used to think that nothing in my life happened for me. I used to look at the people
in my life and say to myself that this is something I should have done.

3. I used to look at situations with an attitude of losing my temper and saying how dare them.
Now, I think that these people know better. They know how to handle these situations better than I do.
They have more skill in these situations than I do.

How To Change Your Thoughts

When I first heard this, I wondered how could I know this. I asked myself, how can I be sure of this?
Then, how do I know this, I asked again. Then, how do I know these?
I said to myself, whatever you are willing to do to make the changes, you can do it.
No matter what the cost, you can do it. And, it is not too late to do it. So, I set very specific requirements.

1. I asked that my beliefs be changed in such a way that I trust others.
That I trust people enough to believe in them. That I trust them with my life.

2. I asked that my perception of life be changed in a way that I see life in a different perspective.

3. I asked that I trust myself and that I have the courage to trust my intuition.
And finally, I asked that I trust my God. I didn’t care what you do, as long as you do it!

Then, I set myself the task to look at these situations and change these beliefs in a way that
I no longer mistreat myself. I had to change the subconscious beliefs that I have about myself.
You have to change your belief about yourself. No matter what is going on, you must judge yourself in a different way.

A New Perspective – A new Outlook

Happier thoughts

Once I changed my beliefs, I saw the results in my life. When I look at myself,
I see someone who loves me and wants the best for me. When I judge myself, I see the terrible things that
I allowed others to do to me. And, I saw that I needed to let go of what others did to me.

Then, I had to change my inner dialogue from, “I am unhappy in life”, to “I am a peaceful person”.
And, finally, I had to change my inner dialogue from, “I am angry all the time”, to, “I am peaceful all the time”.
I had to replace this inner dialogue with the inner dialogue that says, “I am peaceful and happy”.

That’s it! These beliefs, as I have stated, took a long time to change, but, they did change.
And, I see the beautiful person that I have become. And, what can I say?
I’m so proud of myself. I love who I am becoming.
