When faced with an unpleasant situation in the future, what should we do? Where do we have power to change the future? What is the biggest contribution we can make to change the future? How can we make that difference?
It is easy to respond with a couple of well-meaning words of advice. But is it always the best response? Can you always count on those words to produce the result you want? You may be pleasantly surprised.
In the case of the solution to the problem, where do you have the most power to change the situation? You may think you have some power, but can you do something about it? That is what matters most. You can do something about it, but it will not change until you make that difference. You have the choice. You can change things if you choose to.
The big difference is that you are not powerless and they have the biggest impact.
This is the difference between your old ways of thinking and thinking for yourself versus the way of thinking of an empowered person.
Think about this when you are faced with situations that you don’t like, things that you don’t like happening to you or that you don’t believe should happen. Instead of turning away or turning around, why not just go right forward?
When you are faced with a situation that you don’t like, why not just brush it off and keep going?
Maybe you were angry with the person when you were walking. Why not brush off your anger and keep going?
Or maybe you were upset about something that happened and you didn’t think there was anything you could do about it. Why not just brush it off and keep going?
Think about. What is the first step towards changing the situation or issue?
Do you need to really engage with it to find out? Or do you just go straight on and just get on with it?
Think about when you are in a situation that really bugs you, why does it bug you? Is it because the person is behaving badly or is it because you don’t like the way the situation is going? Or is it because the person is in the wrong?
The situation or issue is the root of the problem and you have the power to change it. When you know that and take action, you make things better and you are less likely to be stuck and be affected by what has happened. When you know that and you act based on that knowledge, you automatically take yourself out of the stuck state and you move to the empowered state.
This also means that you don’t need to know the answer right away. You don’t need to know the solution to get unstuck. You just need to know the direction in which you want to go and that provides the direction and the direction is more important than the solution.
So as you take action and take a step forward, you take a risk. You take a risk by not knowing the solution to the situation. By not knowing the answer to a problem, you also take a risk by not knowing something very important about yourself. By not knowing yourself, you may take a risk by not knowing what is important to you.
Most of the time, that “something important” is who you are. And by not knowing who you are, you will be stuck and not take action to move to the next level of your life. If you are not knowing who you are, you are not knowing your “self” and you are stuck on the first level of your life. If you are not knowing your “self”, you are not knowing about your greatness. By not knowing about your greatness, you may not take the next step because you feel you are not worthy. By not knowing your greatness, you may feel helpless when another person hurts you.
As you know that by taking a risk, there is a certain probability of failure and failure is possible. The risk is that you may not know who you are or what your “self” is and you could stay stuck on the level you are on.
You can also take the risk and know who you are and what your “self” is. You can also take the risk of knowing who you are and what your “self” is and being unable to change the situation because the situation may be beyond your control. When you are unable to change the situation because the situation is beyond your control, you will be stuck in the level you are on and unable to change the situation. In such a situation, you will have no choice but to stay on the level and suffer and lament.
How to deal with the fear of change
The first step to overcoming the fear of change is to know what it is you fear. Without knowing what it is you fear, it is hard to make the choice to change. If you know what it is you fear, you have the power to change it. In order to have the power to change, you have to confront your fear. If you are afraid of change, the best way to confront your fear is to act on your fear.
If you have no fear of change, then the best way to confront your fear is to face your fear. If you don’t know what your “self” is, then the best way to confront your fear is to act on your fear. When you confront your fear, it will arise from your roots. You have to be very careful with confronting your fear because you could easily stay stuck and transform into your “self”. But if you have the courage to face your fear, then it will transform into its “self”.
