The first rule of Personal Branding is simple. It is to be different. People want brands that are unique and recognizable. That way their memory is clear and people remember and recall the brand name.
You may have heard a slogan that ends like this “You are X and we are Y, Z” but the person using the slogan does not realize they are branding you, or they do not realize the name is already taken.
Your Personal Branding should have a tag line that ends similarly ” you are X, Z, your name is X, Z” with the tag line indicating the name is now yours.
If you do not think you are unique and do not want your name to be associated with other brands, it is best to choose a niche rather than trying to be all things to all people.Personal Branding is a very personal endeavor. It is something that is unique to you. When choosing your niche, there are several areas you want to focus on.

The first is your profession, your industry, your specialty.
The second is the people you associate with.
The third area you should focus on is the products you sell.
The fourth is who you donate to.

The first three are areas you can control and the tag line can tell your audience your interests. The tag line for the products you sell will tell your audience why you are donating to that organization. This way your audience remembers you.

There are numerous books and resources on the Internet that explain exactly how to create a Personal Brand. There are also numerous books and resources on choosing a tag line for the products you sell. However, a lot of the content is dated and most of the content is irrelevant now. I suggest you start by focusing on one or two areas and focus on those areas very carefully. The areas you focus on will make your Personal Brand a more compelling Personal Brand. Your Personal Brand will make your products much more interesting to donate to. Your tag line will make your products much more relevant. As a side note, the most compelling Personal Brands are the ones that are already strongly identified with their profession’s niche.

You should have one or two organizations that you donate to as a hobby. You should make sure they are in the news. If you are a good friend of a politician you should get to know the politician’s voting record and the politician himself.

If you’re a good friend of an environmentalist or a conservationist or one of those groups you should get to know how important these groups are and the candidates they supported and against. You should try to get as close to the candidates you care about as possible and try to understand each candidates reasoning when he or she votes which candidate they supported or why they supported a certain candidate. You should focus on one candidate. This candidate is a one year rental property rental. In the next presidential election cycle you should focus all your energy on one vote. This candidate is currently a two term Senator. In the next presidential election cycle you should focus all your energy to one vote. This candidate is the current Mayor of their city. All your efforts should be dedicated to understanding each candidate’s personal goals and beliefs and their voting records and positions.

The Personal Brand of your Candidate will stand for their Vote. Your Personal Brand will stand for their actions. The Personal Brand of your Candidate will stand for your products. Your Personal Brand will stand for your services. Your Personal Brand will stand for their vote and your products or services. Your Personal Brand will make your products much more interesting to donate to. Your Personal Brand will make your products much more relevant. Your Personal Brand will make your services much more relevant. Your Personal Brand will make your business much more interesting. Your Personal Brand will make your friend much more interesting.

Your Personal Brand will make you much more relevant. You should focus on one candidate and one vote. You should make your products more interesting to donate to. In short your Personal Brand of a candidate will make your vote much more relevant and interesting.
