Healing The Inner Person
The ability to love ourselves is the basis of healing and renewal. Our love is responsible for the healing process.
Healing the inner person means opening the wound of the past, letting go of pain and suffering,
and replacing it with forgiveness, joy, gratitude and love.
Our self-love creates the foundation for healing, letting go and replacing
what has been broken with new healing relationships and new empowered embodiments.
The healing of our self-love is the process that creates new relationships with ourselves.
Self-love is love that is given to ourselves in our daily lives. It is a love that extends from
our core through our outer body. It is a love that is given through our entire body as we move throughout our day.
In other words, it is a love that extends into every cell of our body.
It is the love that we give to ourselves as we wake up in the morning, as we wake up in the evening,
and as we go to sleep. It is the love that we give as we greet each day, as we go to school and to work, as we wait in a queue,
as we are asked to wait at the checkout, as we enter a store, as we shop, as we are seated at a restaurant,
as we greet our children, as they arrive, as they depart, as they say hello to our friends and relatives,
as they are hugged, as they are smiled at, as they are touched gently, as they are watched, as they are listened to,
as they are loved, as they are respected, as they are loved, as they are given their space and time.
Self-love is a love that extends from our core to our outer body, is given to us as we enter our daily life.
It is the love that we give to ourselves daily. It is the love that we give as we wait in line, as we greet our children,
as we wait in line behind a cancer patient at the hospital, as we wait with someone needing their heart surgery,
as we watch as our child recovers from a heart bypass, as we stand in line behind a child with a prosthetic leg,
as we stand in line behind a woman with a brain tumor, as we stand in line behind an
elderly person needing a meal at a restaurant, as we wait in line to enter a temple or retreat,
as we are requested to join a blessing circle and meditate with a meditation master.
Self-love is a love that we give to ourselves daily. Self-love is an outer manifestation of the inner love that we feel for ourselves.
A wonderful insight that leads to self-love is to know that we have enough love within us to bring about
the creation of all things that we desire, as long as we allow the love that is within to be able to emanate and be acknowledged.
Self-love is a love that emanates from our core, through our mind, heart and body and into our outer world.
As long as we allow the love that we feel for ourselves to be able to be accepted and acknowledged by others,
we will continue to feel the joy of self-love. As long as we allow our self-love to be able to impact others,
we will continue to be able to influence others to feel the love that is within, and we will continue to
be able to affect those others to experience the joy of self-love.
When we begin to experience the joy of self-love, we are able to affect the inner and outer world in a positive way.
When we resonate with self-love, we are able to create the reality that we desire.
As long as we allow the love that is within to be able to emanate and be acknowledged, and
as long as we experience the joy of self-love, we have the ability to affect all of the world in a positive way.
You are now on your way to receiving the gift of the path to experiencing the joy of self-love.
It is a path that is well trodden, and one that is well travelled.
It is a path that has a history of being a means towards experiencing the joy of self-love.
The path to experiencing the joy of self-love is a path that has been available to every person that has ever existed.
It is a path that has always been here, and yet it is a path that is difficult to come upon.
It is a path that requires the courage of a warrior, and the strength of a hero.
It is a path that requires the discipline of a monk, and the flexibility of a yogi.
The path to the joy of self-love is a path that can only be achieved by one who is
willing to undergo the self examination process, and who has the discipline to follow through to the end.
It is a path that requires the inner commitment of a nun, and the altruistic support of a priest.
It is a path that can only be achieved by one who has experienced the self examination process,
and who is willing to continue the journey as it continues for ever.
It is the path that all deserve to experience.
"You must nurture your own inner being to accept yourself as you are. If you don't accept yourself, you will never be at peace with yourself."
